AIT discusses exam process

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) held a meeting on the preparation for the exam with the participation of the Institute management.

The discussion included topics such as assessing students’ knowledge for the current semester, organizing the winter exam session and other concerns. AIT rector Agil Shirinov, spoke during the occasion and touched on the subjects to be discussed. He clarified the concerns regarding the winter exam session in the autumn semester.
Mubariz Jamalov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Learning Technologies, spoke about the organization of education and student assessment during the autumn semester. He mentioned that the winter exam period would be divided into two shifts.

Elnura Azizova, Dean of the Faculty of Theology, addressed the problem of student attendance, adding that the preparations for the autumn semester's winter exam session had been finished.

Zarifa Aliyeva, Head of the AIT Academic Affairs Department, provided an update on the preparations for the autumn semester exams. She noted that the problems concerning the preparation and verification of exam cards as well as the examination process, had been completed.
Rector Agil Shirinov underlined the necessity of organizing the exam session in accordance with current norms, assembling questions, and ensuring full openness and objectivity in the assessment of students’ knowledge in his closing remarks.

Guidelines for the prevention of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) during examinations established by the Public Association Medical Territorial Units must be followed during the examinations. The Temporary Rules for the Organization of the Teaching and Learning Process in Educational Institutions Operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan During the Special Quarantine Regime, authorized by the Cabinet of Ministers on September 10, 2020 No. 332, must also be followed.
