Azerbaijan Institute of Theology held a meeting with university applicants in Bilasuvar

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) continues its promotional events in the regions of Azerbaijan with the aim of attracting high-level and intellectual students for the 2019-2020 academic year. The next visit of the Institute staff was to Bilasuvar district.

The Institute officials first visited Heydar Aliyev’s monument and paid tribute to the memory of the national leader laying flowers at the monument.

Khanlar Mammadov, Deputy head of the Executive Power in Bilasuvar district, welcomed the guests and noted that historical achievements in education and other fields are the results of a great deal of effort and activities implemented by national leader Heydar Aliyev and his worthy follower Ilham Aliyev. The achievements of the National Education Strategy founded by Heydar Aliyev enabled Azerbaijani education to integrate into the world advanced education system. Khanlar Bayramov also noted that educational reforms, formation of new legislative base, new decrees and laws contribute to the development of the state and people.

Jeyhun Mammadov, Rector of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, welcomed university applicants and recommended them to make every effort to achieve their goals. The Rector emphasized that Azerbaijan is making progress in recent years and the state policy aimed at developing education in the country is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. Today material and technical base of science and education is being developed, renewed and provided with the latest technological tools.

AIT rector emphasized that the state attaches particular importance to the protection of religion and national values. The establishment of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology by President Ilham Aliyev’s decree dated February 9, 2018 is the evidence of this. The Rector gave detailed information about the goals and objectives of the Institute.

Mirniyaz Mursalov, Dean of the faculty of Theology, mentioned the conditions created for better education of students. He noted that the Institute implements various activities aimed at preparing well educated and professional specialists and students’ mastering the essence and foundations of religion.

Mirniyaz Mursalov mentioned the necessary steps taken to ensure transparent teacher-student relations and its further development. He noted that the Institute strives to improve the quality of education, ensure creative approach of teachers in their daily activities, increase students’ interest in education and develop their knowledge and skills.

Fidan Yusifova, Head of the Department of Graduate Studies at AIT, delivered a presentation on admission rules to the Institute and existing majors. She noted that each student would benefit from the necessary conditions, tuition-free education and other privileges created by the state. Fidan Yusifova said students will be provided with free uniforms, food, foreign language courses and other advantages.

The materials and video reflecting the social activities of AIT were demonstrated for university applicants, school teachers and government officials who participated in the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, university applicants' questions were responded.
