The 67th International Congress on Phenomenology

The Azerbaijan Institute of Theology and the World Phenomenology Institute will jointly organize the 67th International Congress on Phenomenology, to be held on June 23–25, 2026, in Baku.
The congress will focus on the theme: “Following the Passion of the Earth with Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka: The Unveiling and the Unveiled.”

The aim of the conference is to explore how the Earth reveals itself through human experience, creativity, culture, and ethical responsibility, while simultaneously remaining a living mystery that calls for renewed phenomenological reflection.

Contributions that take an interdisciplinary approach are particularly encouraged.
All submissions must specifically identify phenomenological aspects of the work.
The conference welcomes contributions in different topics of interest, among them but not limited to:

- Unveiling and the Unveiled as Fundamental Phenomenological Movements
- Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka’s Legacy in Contemporary Phenomenology
- Life, Nature, and Creativity in Phenomenological Perspective

- Cultural, Artistic, and Aesthetic Expressions of the Earth’s Passion
- Intersections of Phenomenology with Science, Ecology, and Technology
- Eastern and Western Perspectives on Nature and Life
- Crisis of the Earth and Phenomenological Responses
- New Phenomenological Directions and the Phenomenology of Life

- Full papers due: September 30, 2026 (25 pages max).

- Registration Fee: USD 30.00
- Please note that all participants are expected to be members of the World Phenomenology Institute. Membership dues are reduced for those participating in this congress to USD 50.00 per year. (Graduate student and emeritus rate of USD 30.00).

Papers will be considered for publication in the peer-review book series, Analecta Husserliana and Islamic Philosophy and Occidental Phenomenology in Dialogue, edited by the World Phenomenology Institute and published by Springer Nature.
