The Academic Council of AIT held its extended meeting on summer exam session

The Academic Council of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) held its extended meeting on the preparations for summer exam session.

Jeyhun Mammadov, Chair of the Academic Council, mentioned the care and attention to education in the country, the activities implemented in this direction as well as decrees and laws signed by President Ilham Aliyev. He emphasized that the establishment of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology is the evidence of the attention to religion and protection of national values.

Jeyhun Mammadov noted that the organization of the activities according to the international requirements is one of the primary goals of the Institute. The Institute has created necessary conditions for the comprehensive development of students.

The meeting discussed the organization of exam session in accordance with the existing rules, compilation of exam questions, ensurance of transparency and objectivity in the assessment, establishment of an operational headquarters for the exam session and operative responses to applications.

The dean and department chairs were informed about their tasks to ensure transparency and objectivity of the exams. Decisions were made about creating conditions for students to demonstrate their knowledge, appointing teacher-invigilators to supervise the exams and resolving existing dissatisfaction that may arise during the session.

The meeting participants were informed that summer exam session of the 2018/2019 academic year would be held in written, test and oral forms and exam dates were appointed at least with two days between them. Participants were also informed about the disagreements that might arise during the examination process and organization of the session in accordance with transparent and normative documents.
