Interviews for Islamic Studies major at AIT have been finalized

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) held interviews for the applicants who want to study BA degree in Islamic Studies on July 27 - August 31, 2019.

The Religious and Psychological Commission established by the State Examination Center evaluated applicants’ general world outlook, psychological condition, creative thinking, communication skills and eligibility for Islamic Stuides major.

133 applicants registered on the SEC website for 36 vacancies.

75 out of 133 registered applicants passed the interview successfully. The applicants who passed the interviews can choose Islamic Studies major. Minimum score for the participation in the interview was 150.

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology was established by President Ilham Aliyev’s decree dated February 9, 2018. Aiming to educate highly qualified specialists in the fields of Islamic and Religious Stuides, Azerbaijan Institute of Theology offers tuition-free education. The Institute gives students the opportunity to study English, Arabic, Classical Hebrew, Sanskrit, Classical Greek, Latin, Russian and Farsi languages. Apart from this, students have the opportunity to continue their masters and PhD degree education in European, American and Eastern countries through exchange programs (Erasmus, Mevlana, etc.) and state-sponcored scholarships.

Students have access to over 14000 books on Religion, History, Philosophy, Language, Literature and other fields in Azerbaijan, Arabic, Turkish, English, Farsi and Russian.
