August issue of the newspaper Theologian has been published
Azerbaijan Institute of Theology has published the August issue of the newspaper Theologian.
The first page presents President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva’s congratulations on the Festival of the Sacrifice addressed to the Azerbaijani people. The page also reflects the Decree on awarding A.H.Pashazade with the Heydar Aliyev Medal and a congratulatory message to Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade on the occasion of his 70th birthday and 40th anniversary of his activity.
The second page of the newspaper presents the article entitled “Life dedicated to the progress of Azerbaijan” which includes congratulation of the staff of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology on the occasion of birthday of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mehriban Aliyeva. The article entitled “Scholarly, historical and philosophical look at the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict” dedicated to Ramiz Mehdiyev’s book The Armenian-Azerbaijani Daghlig-Garabagh Conflict: Sources of Problems and Regulatory Prospects has been published on the third page.
The fourth and fifth pages highlight the articles entitled “A conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Allahshukur Pashazade has been held” and “Sheikh-ul-Islam 70”. Articles are dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, the 12th Sheikh-ul-Islam and Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Professor of Baku State University and Doctor of historical sciences. The academic staff of the Institute congratulated His Holiness with the article “Sheikh-ul-Islam-70”.
AIT rector Jeyhun Mammadov’s interview to AZERTAC has been published on the sixth page of the newspaper.

The article on “Military pilot has been buried” is on the last page of the August issue of the newspaper.
The primary goal of the newspaper is to inform public about the Institute activities, implemented projects, increase students’ patriotic feelings, their intellectual level and contribute to the religious awareness in the country.
