AIT held a meeting on the outcomes of activities for April

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) held its next meeting on the outcomes of activities for April in the current academic year. The meeting was attended by the Institute administration and academic staff and discussed future prospects.

AIT rector Jeyhun Mammadov noted that the state attaches particular importance to the development of education, culture, national and spiritual values. The Rector noted that President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues the state-religion policy formed by national leader Heydar Aliyev, who had unique role in protecting national and spiritual values and passing them down to younger generation.

Jeyhun Mammadov said the development of young people in a healthy mood and their maintenance with education meeting world requirements is one of the priorities of the state. He further mentioned AIT goals and objectives. He also outlined the educational process at AIT, activities of instructors, publication of books and articles and future plans.

The Rector touched upon the Institute’s purposeful activity in the direction of establishing international relations with foreign higher education institutions and ensuring participation of students in summer schools.

Emphasizing the primary goals of the Institute which include the training of specialists with profound knowledge and rich world-outlook, Jeyhun Mammadov said the Institute makes every effort to achieve its goals and justify the confidence reposed in us.
