AIT published June 2019 issue of the newspaper Theologian

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) has published June 2019 issue of the newspaper Theologian.

The first page of the newspaper presents congratulations of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva on the occasion of Ramadan.

The second page of the newspaper highlights the article by AIT rector Jeyhun Mammadov entitled “The Founder of Our National Salvation” dedicated to to the return of national leader Heydar Aliyev to power on June 15, 1993.

The third page of the newspaper presents information about the conference “From Interfaith and Inter-civilizational Cooperation to Human Solidarity” jointly organized by Baku International Center of Interreligious and Inter-civilization Cooperation acting under the Caucasus Muslims Office, KAICIID International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue and Azerbaijani Embassy in Austria on June 19, 2019.

Published on the fourth page of the newspaper, the article entitled “The Importance and Essence of the Civil Service System in the Republic of Azerbaijan” deals with public administration system in Azerbaijan based on the rich experience of democratic countries today; special importance of the policy in terms of national statehood after national leader Heydar Aliyev came to power in 1969; proper organization of civil service system and training and involvement of qualified specialists in civil service system.

The June issue of the newspaper also presents the articles entitled “AIT rector Jeyhun Mammadov’s address to students and parents”; “Heydar Aliyev is the Winner of the Struggle of Azerbaijani People’s Salvation” dedicated to the 15th of June, National Salvation Day; “Religious leaders of Zagatala have attended Wahdat prayer”; “Summer exam session has been monitored”; “Examinations continue”; “Seminar on Promoting the Truth about Azerbaijan in the World”; “Training on Gender Based Violence”; “Azerbaijan Institute of Theology is the winner of the virtual survey” and “AIT department chair delivered a speech at UNEC”.

The newspaper also reflects the information about seminars organized to enrich students’ world outlook, intellectual level, spiritual world and direct them to academic researches. These articles include “Meeting with students”; “Meeting with the officials of Nanjing Hanjia Cultural Exchange organization”; “Meeting with Kamil Mousavi” and “Meeting with People’s Artist Arif Guliyev”.

The promotional events held in the regions of Azerbaijan with the aim of attracting high-level and intellectual students for the 2019-2020 academic year are reflected with the article entitled “The Institute of Theology in the Regions”. The article gives detailed information about the meetings held in Bilasuvar and Mingechevir districts.

Different pages of the newspaper introduce the articles written by the academic staff of the Institute entitled “The most powerful military force of the region”; “The Azerbaijani Army”; “Motivation factor in teaching second language”; “Ilham and Fariza”; “Говори благое либо молчи”; “Genius of Mirza Jalil”; “What do we know about fate?” and “What Should We Understand From Mu’tazilism?”

The newspaper also reflects the articles of the Institute students entitled “Our National Dresses” and “Garabagh”.

The last page of the newspaper presents the article “Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) invites university applicants to Open Door Days”.

It is worth noting that the goal of the newspaper is to inform public about the Institute activities, implemented projects, increase students’ patriotic feelings, their intellectual level and contribute to the religious awareness in the country.
