AIT Journal of Religious Studies was published

The Journal of Religious Studies, one of the main indicators of the academic activity at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT), was published.
Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Jeyhun Mammadov, Rector of the Institute. The primary goal of the journal is to present academic articles of religious scholars and researchers in the country and around the world. Published bianually, the journal introduced 21 articles in the first issue. The scholarly articles on sociology of religion, psychology of religion, Islamic law, interpretation, hadith, philosophy, history and linguistics have been presented by the professional and influential researchers. The editorial board consists of local as well as international academics from different countries such as Turkey, Russia, Iran and Switzerland.
The publication rules of the journal have been prepared in conformity with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for scientific journals as well as international standards in this field.
Azerbaijani Institute of Theology is a higher educational institution specializing in religious education. Apart from religious articles, the Institute attaches special attention to the publication of monographs, textbooks and articles in various fields of social sciences. It should be noted that academic publications are one of the main indicators of scientific activity of each higher education institution. In the future, the journal is expected to be included in recognized indexes.
We hope that the journal of Religious Stuides published by Azerbaijan Institute of Theology will attract the attention of academic community and will make a significant contribution to the formation of academic thinking in its field.

The Institute also published Regulations, Rules and Guidelines Collection book.
