AIT academic staff and students visit the Alley of Honor to pay tribute to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev

December 12 is a remembrance day of the memory of Heydar Aliyev, a well-known politician, prominent statesman and national leader of the Azerbaijani people.

Academic staff and students of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology visited the Alley of Honor and paid tribute to the memory of the national leader by laying flowers at the grave.

16 years have passed since the death of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of the independent Azerbaijani State and world-famous political figure. Thanks to his far-sighted policy, the National Leader contributed to the development of the country’s reputation, its extensive development, eternal and irreversible independence, religious stability and protection of our national and moral values. The phenomenon of Heydar Aliyev, his high personality, extraordinary leadership skills and high intelligence have always made him a prominent figure among the world politicians and statesmen.

Today, Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, successfully continues the purposeful and far-sighted policy of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
