Azerbaijan Institute of Theology held a remembrance event dedicated to Heydar Aliyev’s memory
Azerbaijan Institute of Theology held a seminar on The Importance of Historical and Moral Values in the Development of Statehood dedicated to the memory of great leader Heydar Aliyev with the participation of MP Aydin Mirzazade.
AIT rector Jeyhun Mammadov delivered a speech and mentioned the multicultural and tolerant environment in our country emphasizing the activities implemented to develop state-religious relations formed by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. AIT rector stressed that the Institute stepped into an all-inclusive and dynamic development path as a result of the rich statehood experience, strong will, purposeful and far-sighted policy of national leader Heydar Aliyev. He said that President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva successfully pursue the policy formed by great leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of our country, preserving national and moral values, promoting tolerance and multiculturalism. Many religious places are being repaired and restored in our country; new religious educational institutions are being established.
MP Aydin Mirzazade delivered a speech on “The Importance of Historical and Moral Values in the Development of Statehood” and spoke about the life and activity of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, his inimitable contribution to the development of the Azerbaijani statehood. He said that the second return of Heydar Aliyev to power in Azerbaijan has protected our country from all the hardships that have arisen in the early years of independence.
The Member of Parliament also mentioned the Genius Leader’s reforms carried out in political, economic, scientific, educational and other fields. Noting that all achievements of modern Azerbaijan are related to the name of a phenomenal statesman such as Heydar Aliyev, A.Mirzazade touched upon the importance of statehood experience and political heritage of the Great Leader. A.Mirzazade noted that the policy of national leader Heydar Aliyev was successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev and our country has achieved significant progress in all spheres and gained great authority in the international arena.
