AIT held a meeting with the People’s Artist of Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) held a meeting with Arif Guliyev, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan.

Ilkin Alimuradov, Head of the Department of Languages and Social Sciences, opened the meeting welcoming the participants. He emphasized that the organization of roundtables, trainings, seminars and meetings is of particular importance for improving students’ intellectual level and enriching their spiritual world.

Ilkin Alimuradov mentioned the importance of the meetings with writers and artists from the aspect of development of youth. He informed the participants about the life and creative activity of the actor.

People’s Artist Arif Guliyev then delivered a speech and shared his opinions with the meeting participants. Informing the audience about his contribution to the fields of cinema and theatre, the actor emphasized the importance of these activities in the development of younger generation. Speaking about his various characters, Arif Guliyev admitted that his aim has always been to make audience think through comedy.

The actor said that organization of meetings with art and science people is commendable.

Expressing his gratitude to the Institute administration for the meeting, Arif Guliyev mentioned his future plans.

The meeting continued with students’ questions.
